Abstract
This study aimed to design, develop, and implement a School Records Management System (SRMS)for the Magalalag National High School. The Descriptive and Developmental research design was employed in this study. Interviews and surveys were used as data and requirement-gathering techniques. Data gathered were analyzed using descriptive statistics. For the Developmental Research Design, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Sashimi Model approach were utilized. The findings of the study revealed that one of the major difficulties/issues manual the manual system is the lack of document storage as the amount of paper used grows yearly, which has the highest mean value. This indicates a need for an efficient way to manage these documents. It was also revealed that one of the most highly recommended solutions for this issue is to monitor the record management program and keep it up to date. It was suggested that there should be a staff responsible for this program. Moreover, the assessment of the SRMS further showed that it has an extremely high degree of compliance with ISO 25010 Software Quality Standards. The study also found that the SRMS is useful for storing and retrieving student records. The research shows that the SRMS is considered effective based on evaluation using ISO 25010 Software Quality Standards. It will serve as the foundation for its potential adaptation and implementation in MNHS.References
